Robbie Miller
Robbie Miller was born in Greenock, Scotland in
1962. She went to Glasgow University, but
dropped out, after years of fruitless study and
the realization that Astronomy/Mathematics and
her were not good friends.
In search of a career, in the late 80’s, she
taught herself how to use computers to create
artwork. In furtherance of this, she went to
James Watt College, Greenock where she took a
course in CAD, taking her first steps in 3D
computer graphics. Using this experience, she
entered the video game industry where she was an
accomplished artist for more than 9 years. She
worked for several companies as a 3D modeler,
texture artist and animator, and worked on more
than 14 published games.
In 2002, she decided to pursue a different
branch of the art world and joined Star Light
Press as an illustrator. So far she has
illustrated two books, a video game and seven
disks of printable activity sheets for Star
Light Press. |
